Job Summary

The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing the organization's information technology infrastructure, systems, and operations. This role ensures the reliability, security, and efficiency of IT services while aligning technology solutions with business goals.

Key ResponsibilitiesIT Operations & Infrastructure

  • Manage and maintain company IT infrastructure (servers, networks, hardware, software).
  • Ensure system availability, performance, backup, and disaster recovery.
  • Oversee cloud services, data storage, and system integrations.
  • Manage IT assets, licenses, and vendors.

Team Management

  • Lead, supervise, and evaluate IT staff (System Admins, Support, Developers, DevOps, etc.).
  • Assign tasks, set priorities, and monitor team performance.
  • Provide technical guidance, training, and performance reviews.

Security & Compliance

  • Ensure data security, system integrity, and compliance with company policies.
  • Implement cybersecurity measures and access control policies.
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents and system breaches.

Planning & Strategy

  • Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Participate in IT budgeting and cost control.
  • Align IT initiatives with company business objectives.
  • Propose and manage IT projects and system upgrades.

Support & Coordination

  • Ensure timely resolution of IT issues and service requests.
  • Coordinate with other departments to support operational needs.
  • Act as a point of escalation for complex technical issues.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of:
  • Networks, servers, and operating systems
  • Cloud platforms and IT infrastructure
  • IT security and data protection
  • Experience with IT service management and ticketing systems.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Alexandria residents is a must

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in DevOps, ERP, or CRM systems.
  • Knowledge of ITIL or project management methodologies.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
