Location:Hybrid or RemoteDuration:3 MonthsType:Internship | Full TimeLevel:Medium to AdvancedAbout Drop MeDrop Me empowers MENA's 15–50+ to recycle smarter through a gamified app and real-time incentives, deploying AI-driven, locally manufactured recycling machines that boost recycling by 40%+ in a $70B circular economy market.We're now scaling the mobile experience, and we're hiring aFlutter Internready to help us build a stable, user-centered product that interacts with real-world hardware.Your Role: Flutter Developer Intern (Mobile App)You'll be joining our tech team to deliver a high-performing mobile app that powers the full Drop Me user experience from scanning recyclables to tracking rewards and syncing with machines.Just focused, clean, scalable Flutter code.Core Responsibilities:Execution-Level (Build What's Designed)Develop responsive and modular UI using Flutter & DartIntegrate app with Firebase / Supabase for Auth, Firestore, and FunctionsImplement features like:QR scanningUser onboarding & loginReward tracking & wallet displayMulti-screen navigation & animationsTest across Android and iOS for consistencyIntermediate-Level (Adapt & Solve)Implement basic offline support and background syncing logicOptimize performance, responsiveness, and state handlingManage application logic using Riverpod , Bloc , or preferred state managementAdd push notifications and in-app feedback cuesDebug edge cases across screen sizes and devicesOwnership-Level (Lead Within Scope)Take the lead on a feature rollout (e.g., dashboard, profile, or gamification module)Collaborate with the design team to refine UI based on usage logicSuggest improvements to component structure or app flowWrite and maintain simple developer documentation for your codeYou are a Strong fit if you are:6+ months of hands-on Flutter experience (internship, freelance, or personal projects)Built at least one functional mobile app (please share)Familiarity with Firebase / Supabase toolsConfidence using Git and working in collaborative sprintsA proactive mindset — you build, test, learn, repeatNice To HavePrevious experience with camera access or QR integrationFamiliarity with Flutter animation or motion designAbility to handle basic local caching/storageUI/UX instinct or a designer's eye for polishWhat You'll GainA real project used by real users interacting with smart machinesMentorship and feedback from product and tech leadsExposure to cross-functional development (app AI hardware)The opportunity to grow into a full-time engineer with equity optionsHow To ApplySend us:Your CVGitHub, portfolio, or mobile app samplesA short intro (text or Loom video): what you've built, what you want to build nextEmail:Subject:Flutter Internship – [Your Name]
