Interior Design ManagerRole Purpose

The Interior Design Manager will lead the creative direction and execution of interior design projects from concept to completion. This role requires a highly skilled professional capable of combining aesthetics with functionality while ensuring designs meet client expectations, align with the company's standards, and comply with all applicable codes and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee creative and functional interior design concepts tailored to client needs.
  • Select appropriate interior finishes, materials, and FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment).
  • Present design concepts to clients and incorporate feedback to ensure satisfaction.
  • Lead, mentor, and guide the interior design team throughout all project phases.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, suppliers, and external consultants.
  • Coordinate with other design disciplines to ensure cohesive and integrated project development.
  • Review and approve all design and technical drawings for accuracy and compliance before submission.
  • Supervise the design process through to completion, including preparation of final design documentation and reports.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Architecture
    or
    Interior Design
    .
  • Minimum
    12 years of progressive experience
    in design, including at least
    4 years in an Interior Design Management role
    within a reputable consultancy or development firm.
  • Excellent command of English (spoken and written).
  • Advanced knowledge of
    interior design standards
    ,
    codes
    , and
    regulations
    .
  • Strong understanding of design coordination with other disciplines.
  • Exceptional analytical thinking and creative problem-solving abilities.
