We are seeking an experienced
Civil Engineering Tutor
specialized in
bridge design, structural analysis, and infrastructure systems
, who is also fluent in
French
and capable of assisting
master's-level students
with their
thesis projects
. The ideal candidate will provide expert academic support, ensuring students understand advanced engineering concepts while guiding them through the research, writing, and defense process in French.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide
    one-on-one and group tutoring sessions
    for undergraduate and postgraduate students in
    bridge engineering and related civil disciplines
    .
  • Assist master's students in
    developing, structuring, and refining
    their
    thesis projects in French
    .
  • Review and correct technical reports, research papers, and dissertations for accuracy and clarity.
  • Offer professional guidance in
    structural design, load analysis, material selection, and construction methods
    for bridges and civil structures.
  • Ensure students grasp complex engineering theories, standards, and industry best practices.
  • Support academic excellence by offering
    personalized feedback
    and strategies for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the academic coordination team to ensure consistency in tutoring quality.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Civil Engineering
    , specializing in
    Structural or Bridge Engineering
    .
  • Proven experience in
    bridge design, modeling software (AutoCAD, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, etc.)
    , and technical documentation.
  • Fluent in French and English
    , with strong academic writing and communication skills.
  • Previous tutoring or teaching experience at the
    university or graduate level
    preferred.
  • Ability to explain complex engineering concepts in a clear, engaging manner.
  • Reliable, professional, and committed to helping students achieve academic success.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience supervising
    master's theses or research projects
    in civil/structural engineering.
  • Familiarity with
    Eurocodes and international bridge design standards
    .
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
