Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Alexandria, Egypt, for an Executive General Manager at MIDOR. The individual will oversee daily operations, provide strategic direction, manage cross-functional teams, and ensure high efficiency across the refinery and trading activities. Responsibilities will include refining capacity optimization, performance monitoring, compliance with safety and environmental standards, budgeting, and relationship management with stakeholders. The Executive General Manager will also be tasked with aligning company objectives with long-term growth strategies to strengthen MIDOR's domestic and international market presence.

Qualifications

  • Strong leadership, team management, and strategic planning skills
  • Expertise in refinery operations, petroleum products processing, and trading activities
  • Proficiency in compliance, safety regulations, and sustainable practices in the oil and gas industry
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder relationship management skills
  • Advanced knowledge of financial management, budgeting, and resource allocation in industrial settings
  • Relevant technical degrees such as Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field; MBA is a plus
  • Extensive experience in senior leadership within the energy, oil, or refinery sectors
