Program Innovation Associate

The Program Innovation Associate will work closely with the Program Innovation Manager and collaborate with relevant departments to design and deliver evidence-based programs. The role includes supporting program design and implementation, coordinating impact evaluations, and contributing to the development and dissemination of the Growth Lab's knowledge products.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIESA. Research & Program Design
o Conduct continuous research to stay updated on the latest findings in food security, food assistance, agriculture, and social protection impact evaluations.
o Draft comprehensive program packages (concept notes, proposals, logical frameworks, and budgets as needed).
o Identify and propose innovative and cost-effective solutions to enhance existing programs and address emerging food insecurity challenges.
B. Coordination & Implementation
o Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to support the program design and roll-out.
o Collaborate with the M&E team to ensure robust monitoring and evaluation frameworks are integrated into program design.
o Serve as the focal point from the Program Innovation Division for all impact evaluation activities, liaising with internal and external experts.
o Ensure smooth information flow and knowledge exchange between the Growth Lab, M&E, and Field Operations.
o Conduct occasional field visits to monitor program implementation and provide technical input as needed.
C. Communication & Knowledge Sharing
o Maintain strategic relationships with donor partners and key stakeholders.
o Engage with representatives of national, regional, and international organizations, academia, and civil society.
o Draft talking points, briefs, and presentations for high-level meetings and external representation.
o Coordinate with the PR Division on event logistics and content development (concept notes, invitations, agendas, speaker notes, etc.).
o Produce blog posts, short policy briefs, and other communications materials to highlight program outcomes and lessons learned.
o Support quarterly progress reviews and contribute to documentation for internal learning and donor reporting.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTSo Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Economics, Public Policy, Public Health, or a related social science field (Master's degree is a plus).
o Minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience in development or research work.
o Prior experience with government institutions, INGOs, or NGOs is a strong asset.
o Familiarity with both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
o Excellent organizational and project management skills.
o Fluency in both Arabic and English (spoken and written).
o Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a results-oriented mindset.
