About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Office Engineer to join our team in Cairo, working on major industrial construction projects such as factories, warehouses, industrial plants, steel structures, and MEP-integrated facilities. The ideal candidate must have strong technical capabilities, excellent coordination skills, and advanced proficiency in Revit/BIM to support design, shop drawings, and project execution.

This role is critical to ensuring engineering accuracy, smooth project workflows, and effective communication between the design office, site teams, and management.

Key Responsibilities1. Engineering & Design Coordination

  • Prepare, review, and update shop drawings, as-built drawings, and technical submissions.
  • Develop and manage BIM models using Revit for architectural, structural, and MEP scopes.

  • Coordinate model clash detection and resolve discrepancies with discipline engineers.

  • Technical Documentation

  • Prepare RFIs, technical queries, and method statements for ongoing industrial projects.

  • Review and approve material submittals in coordination with consultants and suppliers.

  • Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, codes, and standards.

  • Quantity Surveying & BOQs

  • Conduct accurate quantity take-offs and prepare BOQs from drawings and BIM models.

  • Assist in cost control, variation orders, and tender documentation.

  • Site & Project Support

  • Coordinate with site teams to clarify drawings and resolve technical issues.

  • Follow up on project progress and provide technical support to ensure execution aligns with approved designs.
  • Participate in progress meetings and submit weekly technical reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Architectural, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Excellent proficiency in Revit
    and BIM workflows (mandatory).
  • Previous experience in industrial construction (factories, plants, heavy industrial works) is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of structural and MEP coordination.
  • Ability to read and interpret all types of construction drawings and specifications.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Navisworks, and MS Office.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Immediate availability is required.
