Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for an Accountant, based in Cairo, Egypt. The accountant will handle day-to-day financial operations, including managing accounts payable and receivable, preparing financial statements, and reconciling general ledger accounts. Responsibilities also include maintaining compliance with local regulations and company policies, preparing tax filings, and supporting audits. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes and ensure accurate reporting.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger management
  • Knowledge in tax regulations, compliance, and preparation of filings
  • Strong skills in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Experience with accounting software, ERP systems, and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent organizational, time-management, and attention-to-detail skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is preferred
  • Effective communication and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus
  • Using internet banking.
  • Utilizing accounting software.
  • Handling online payments to the government.
  • Creating accounting reports every month.
  • Complies with the guidelines and directives of the office rules.
