Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Execution

  • Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria.
  • Create and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Identify risks, issues, and dependencies, and develop mitigation strategies.

Stakeholder & Client Management

  • Serve as the main point of contact with clients, understanding their business needs and translating them into technical requirements.
  • Manage client expectations, provide regular updates, and ensure satisfaction.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Coordinate with development, design, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure smooth execution.
  • Facilitate daily standups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives (Agile/Scrum/Kanban).
  • Motivate and mentor team members, resolving conflicts and promoting productivity.

Quality & Delivery Assurance

  • Monitor project progress against KPIs (delivery deadlines, resource utilization, defect rate).
  • Ensure proper testing, documentation, and deployment practices are followed.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to capture learnings and improve processes.

Knowledge:

  • Software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Project management tools (Jira, Trello, Asana, ClickUp, or similar).
  • Software technologies (basic understanding of frontend/backend, databases, APIs, cloud).
  • Budgeting, resource allocation, and project cost management.
  • Risk management and change management principles.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Leadership and conflict resolution.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Abilities:

  • Translate client requirements into actionable tasks for technical teams.
  • Foster collaboration across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Adaptability to changing project scopes or priorities.

Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (preferred).

Experience:

  • 3–5 years
    of proven experience as a Project Manager in a
    software house.
  • Hands-on experience managing full-cycle software projects (web, mobile, or enterprise).
  • Experience working directly with clients and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering multiple projects on time and within budget.
