About the role:

We are looking for a motivated Junior System Administrator to join our team.

The ideal candidate will assist in monitoring company systems and servers, managing AWS infrastructure, handling employee email accounts, and ensuring our WordPress websites are running smoothly. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about cloud systems, DevOps environments, and IT operations in a software company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor company systems, servers, and website uptime to ensure smooth daily operations.

  • Manage and maintain AWS EC2, S3, and other related cloud services.

  • Create and manage company email accounts.

  • Support the DevOps team by managing and maintaining servers used for deployments and testing.

  • Monitor performance metrics and report system health regularly.

  • Troubleshoot issues related to servers, emails, and network connectivity.

  • Ensure all WordPress-based company websites are running efficiently and securely.

  • Assist in implementing security best practices, backups, and routine updates.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

  • Basic understanding of AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, etc.).

  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems and basic command-line operations.

  • Knowledge of network fundamentals (DNS, VPN, firewalls, IP addressing).

  • Understanding of WordPress hosting and basic troubleshooting.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Eagerness to learn new technologies and grow in the DevOps/System Administration field.

  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with development teams.
