Lead Electrical Engineer

Job objective

Engineer should be expert in different electrical and electronic engineering activities inside the production and utilities facilities and will be responsible of the relevant supporting building services &/or processing systems or components by focusing on safety, economy, reliability, sustainability and process quality to be installed and maintained in a timely manner; assuring that the final product output complies with the international standards and markets quality. Engineer mainly involved in engineering design process, review and coordinate electrical disciplines, check the completion of utilities and services required to perform the operation process in a well-steered method, participate in review, Inspect, and approve process of all materials submittals to be ready for construction, then continuously supervision of all installations and constructions process developing and maintaining broad range of electrical engineering systems and components. Engineer should involve in ensuring 24/7 operation of the production equipment's, short circuit study, arc flash analysis, ensuring GMP (good manufacturing practice), CAPA (corrective action, preventive action) etc.

Key responsibility

- Perform with subcontractors and General Contractor to oversee electrical and electronic systems and equipment installation such as main and sub distribution boards, single line diagram of the electrical system.

- Manage and supervise the team of technicians.

- Focus and concentration to understand complex electrical systems.

- Self-motivation to keep up with current electrical advances using new technologies.

- Ensure to complete installation needs and requirements as stated by site management.

- Manage directly and provides engineering and technical supports to all the Electrical systems (high and light current), Electrical Power, works groups at site.

- Ensure that all the works done are in accordance with the Egyptian local relevant codes and complied with the approved construction drawings, contract documents, and project technical specifications.

- Supervise and implement the installation of all disciplines, such as building services (Electric Power, light-current, switch gears, Power, Control and automation, etc.)

- Responsible to prepare precise weekly progress reports and introduce project documentation.

- Coordinate and follow up with supervisors, foremen, and subcontractors based on the time frame schedules.

- Document and check low and high voltage stability and investigate equipment failures or difficulties to diagnose faulty operation and recommend remedial actions based on manufacture recommendations.

- Oversee installation, operation, maintenance, or repair to ensure that machines or equipment are installed and functioning according to specifications.

- Establish and coordinate the maintenance or safety procedures, service schedule, or supply of materials required to maintain machines or equipment in the prescribed condition.

- Responsible for all commissioning and validation of the equipment.

Academic experience required.

Essential: - Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering Power.

Professional experience required.

Essential:

- Minimum 8 year of engineering experience.

- Minimum 5 years of electrical engineering experience.

- Good knowledge in theory of electrical, electronic systems and electrical engineering applications.

Preferred:

- Pharmaceutical industry experience.

Computing skills

- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.

- Good understanding of Power World Simulator, PSS /E , Or Cad , or similar.

- Detail oriented.

- Strong follow up skills.

- Proven project management & supervision skills.

- Strong communication & interpersonal skills.

Languages Excellent written and spoken English and Arabic.
