Job Description:

  • Design, review, and develop plumbing and fire protection systems for various building projects in compliance with local and international codes.
  • Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations for plumbing and firefighting installations.
  • Coordinate with architects, structural, electrical, and mechanical teams to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems.
  • Conduct site inspections and supervise installation works to ensure adherence to design, quality, and safety standards.
  • Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements from contractors.
  • Participate in project meetings, providing technical guidance and updates to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and client requirements throughout project lifecycle.
  • Prepare technical reports, documentation, and as-built drawings upon project completion.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
  • Up to 7 years of experience in plumbing and fire protection engineering, preferably within an MEP consultancy.
  • Strong knowledge of local and international codes (NFPA, ASHRAE, IPC, etc.) relevant to plumbing and firefighting systems.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Experience in preparing engineering calculations, technical reports, and construction documents.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills for multidisciplinary teamwork.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
