Job Purpose:

  • Ensures that automation initiatives adhere to compliance standards, integrate seamlessly with existing systems, and deliver measurable value to the organization.
  • These roles ensure the seamless integration of automated workflows with existing banking systems while supporting the bank's digital transformation objectives.

Job Responsibilities

  • The development, deployment, and maintenance of workflow and BPM applications.
  • Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of automated workflows and BPM systems.
  • Collaborate with business units to gather requirements and design tailored automation solutions.
  • Lead the implementation of automation initiatives aligned with the bank's strategy.
  • Stay updated on emerging automation technologies and recommend enhancements.
  • Drive improvements and upgrades to existing automation platforms.
  • Develop and implement an enterprise-wide automation strategy that aligns with organizational objectives.
  • Create and manage a roadmap for workflow and BPM system enhancements and upgrades.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation in automation solutions.
  • Ensure automation solutions meet compliance standards and security protocols.
  • Support regular audits and risk assessments of automation systems.
  • Work with IT security teams to address vulnerabilities and ensure secure automation workflows.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for workflows, configurations, and operational procedures.
  • Prepare reports on system performance, incidents, and automation ROI for management.

Job Requirements

Job Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience

  • Applications Automations Manager:
    Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years specializing in workflow or BPM systems.

  • Applications Automations Team Leader:
    Minimum 5 years of experience in workflow automation, BPM systems, or IT operations.

  • Applications Automations Senior officer:
    Minimum of 2 years in workflow or automation systems.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Proficiency in BPM and workflow platforms (e.g., IBM BPM, Oracle BPM, or similar).
  • Familiarity with automation frameworks, process modeling, and scripting tools (e.g., Python, RPA platforms).
  • Understanding of APIs, middleware, and integration technologies.
