The opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Product Marketing Graduate Trainee to join our team. In this role, you will be participating in a 12-month rotational program across Hitachi Energy's various businesses and functions, including an optional overseas assignment.

How you'll make an impact

  • Engaging in job assignments and project work every 3-6 months to accelerate the development of functional and leadership competencies.
  • Receiving coaching, training, and development opportunities such as leadership programs, technical training, industry site experience, and exposure to leading-edge technologies
  • Demonstrating personal leadership, teamwork, and collaboration abilities, with a high level of initiative, self-confidence, and future leader aspirations.
  • Exhibiting a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
  • Willing and able to travel or relocate as required.
  • Capable to drive the initiative cross team with sense of ownership and leadership.
  • Willing to learn, adopt new skills and have strong learning willingness.
  • Willing to work in the product marketing function where he will work in the sales, tendering, marketing and business analysis activities after finishing the training program.
  • Being part of the whole sales funnel from a supply side standpoint, from bid and proposal/tendering stage to price setting with the objective of speeding up the decision-making process and price decisions. This role is also instrumental for cross-factory bid and/or cross-hub tenders
  • Driving the efficiency and willingness to spread the product/ pricing and reporting knowledge cross all the different functions supply and demand side.
  • Being vocal point for Transformer knowledge and product traits in the demand and supply side activities.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background     

  • A bachelor's degree in electrical Power and Machines Engineering University.
  • Recent university graduates in relevant fields with good grades (CGPA 3.5 above or 80% above is the proposed benchmark for Countries).
  • Internationally minded, social and intercultural competency.
  • Mature balanced personality.
  • Team players who are flexible and open to new ideas.
  • Good communicators with persistence and drive.
  • Leadership skills as well as strategic and entrepreneurial competence.
  • Ambitious and curious with a wide area of interest.
  • Realistic career/life goals.
  • Open to learn from foreign cultures and willing to gain experiences in other countries and changing environments.
  • Proficiency in French is preferred.
  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English is required.
