Senior Public Relations Manager

The Public Relations Senior Manager develops communication strategies to engage customers, increase brand trust, and cultivate and maintain positive relationships with media contacts.
Job Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Execution:
Develops a public relations' plan including strategy, goals, budget and tactics
Develops media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast and online media.
Monitors, analyzes and communicates PR results on a quarterly basis.
Operational:
Evaluates opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and advertising on an on-going basis.
Maintains a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and makes appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them.
Directs social media team to engage audiences across traditional and new media.
Creates content for press releases, byline articles and keynote presentations.
Builds relationships with thought leaders to grow industry awareness.
Analyzes media coverage; develop responses when needed.
Works closely with the marketing team to produce campaigns for current and existing products, launches, and promotions.
Enhances existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry media.
Develops and implements organizational publicity strategies for company events.
People Management:
Instils a performance driven culture within the team.
Manages daily work and assign tasks the team.
Conducts periodic employee performance review.
Develops and coaches direct reports encouraging a culture of learning and self-development for current responsibilities and future succession planning initiatives.
Ensures a working environment that fosters collaboration between the team members.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Public Relations, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in Public Relations, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
Strong leadership and team management skills
Strategic thinking and problem-solving
Sound judgment and decision-making abilities
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Fluency in both Arabic and English (spoken and written).
