Role Description

As a senior developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems using Laravel and modern PHP practices. You will also mentor junior developers and help shape the architecture and direction of our backend services.

Design and develop secure, scalable, and maintainable Laravel-based applications, write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices, optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues, contribute to code reviews, and ensure adherence to coding standards.

Mentor junior developers and assist in their technical growth, integrate third-party APIs and services as needed.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in PHP development with at least 3 years focused on Laravel.
  • Strong understanding of MVC architecture and RESTful APIs.
  • Proficiency in MySQL or other relational databases.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies like , React, or Blade templating is a plus.
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and agile development practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
  • Experience with Docker, Redis, or queue systems is an advantage.
