Position Summary:
The Sales Director is responsible for leading and managing the sales operations of OrthoHouse for Medical Devices in Egypt. The role focuses on achieving revenue targets, expanding market share, and developing strong relationships with healthcare professionals, distributors, and key industry stakeholders. The Sales Director will develop strategic sales plans, guide the sales team, and ensure the company's growth and profitability in alignment with corporate objectives.
This position requires a deep understanding of the medical device market, particularly orthopedic and surgical solutions, as well as strong leadership and business acumen.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the company's sales strategy to achieve growth and profitability targets.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to ensure consistent performance and achievement of individual and collective goals.
- Identify new market opportunities, key accounts, and potential business partnerships in the healthcare and medical devices sector.
- Oversee the tendering process and coordinate with government and private healthcare institutions.
- Build and maintain relationships with surgeons, hospitals, procurement departments, and distributors.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments to provide strategic insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate closely with the Marketing, Operations, and Finance departments to ensure alignment of sales activities with overall business goals.
- Manage pricing strategies, margins, and contract negotiations to maximize profitability.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and local regulatory requirements for medical devices.
- Provide detailed sales forecasts, reports, and performance analyses to senior management.
- Represent OrthoHouse at medical exhibitions, conferences, and industry events.
- Contribute to the development of new product launches, market entry strategies, and customer engagement plans.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Biomedical Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of
8–10 years of experience
in medical device or Phamaceutical, with at least
3 years in a senior management or director-level position
. - Proven experience in orthopedic or surgical product lines.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of the Egyptian healthcare market and medical device regulations.
- High proficiency in English and Arabic (spoken and written).
- Strong analytical and strategic planning skills.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
