Sr. Back-End Developer – Ashtar Technology

Ashtar Technology is looking for a talented Back-End Developer with 3–5 years of proven experience to join our fast-growing team. In this role, you will take ownership of designing, developing, and maintaining the server-side logic of our applications, ensuring scalability, performance, and security. You will collaborate closely with front-end developers, UX/UI designers, and product teams to deliver reliable and high-quality solutions that power our platforms.

Key Responsibilities

·       Design, develop, and maintain robust server-side applications using modern back-end frameworks.

·       Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and align with business goals.

·       Build efficient, secure, and scalable APIs to integrate front-end and back-end systems seamlessly.

·       Implement and manage database solutions, including schema design, optimization, and ongoing maintenance.

·       Optimize application performance and ensure responsiveness across all services.

·       Diagnose and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and production issues.

·       Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that adheres to industry best practices.

·       Stay up-to-date with back-end development trends and propose continuous improvements.

Requirements

·       Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).

· –5 years of hands-on experience as a Back-End Developer or in a similar role.

·       Strong knowledge of web concepts (REST, HTTP, APIs) and back-end technologies: , NestJS, Python (Flask/Django).

·       Experience with message brokers such as Redis and RabbitMQ.

·       Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment best practices.

·       Basic understanding of front-end technologies (to support cross-team collaboration).

·       Solid grasp of software design patterns and scalable architecture.

·       Proven track record of delivering production-grade systems at scale.
