The Opportunity

As a
Backend Software Engineer
, you will be responsible for translating user stories and business requirements into reliable, high-quality backend services. You will be expected to work with minimal supervision on assigned features, contribute to technical discussions, and actively participate in improving our engineering practices. This role is a vital step toward becoming a senior expert.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy
    robust, scalable, and maintainable backend services and features in collaboration with senior engineers.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
    following established best practices, coding standards, and security protocols.
  • Collaborate closely with Front-End Engineers
    to define and implement efficient RESTful APIs and ensure seamless system integration.
  • Manage and maintain databases
    (SQL and NoSQL), including schema design, migration, and query optimization.
  • Debug and troubleshoot
    production issues across the system, working quickly to identify root causes and implement fixes.
  • Actively participate in code reviews
    and technical discussions, offering constructive feedback and learning from teammates.
  • Contribute to system performance tuning
    and monitoring efforts under the guidance of senior team members.
