As a Urban & Landscape Design Section Head at Al-
Marasem Company
, you will play a pivotal role in leading and coordinating the design development of urban and landscape projects across all stages. You will ensure that all design outcomes reflect the project's vision, meet technical requirements, and adhere to the highest quality standards.

Your responsibilities will encompass the following key areas:

Design Leadership and Coordination:

  • Lead and coordinate the urban and landscape design packages throughout all project stages, from concept to detailed design and execution.
  • Ensure the consistency, quality, and integrity of design deliverables in alignment with project objectives.

Design Review and Management:

  • Review and manage design submissions from consultants to ensure compliance with project vision, local regulations, and technical requirements.
  • Provide constructive feedback and guidance to ensure the delivery of innovative and practical design solutions.

Master Planning and Design Development:

  • Develop and supervise master plans, landscape layouts, and detailed designs for diverse typologies including public spaces, residential, and hospitality zones.
  • Ensure the proper integration of parking, circulation, and functional requirements within the master plan while adhering to local codes and standards.

Design Control and Change Management:

  • Evaluate and manage design-related claims or change requests.
  • Propose and implement effective design solutions that align with project goals and maintain overall design integrity.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate with internal departments, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams to achieve coordinated design outcomes.
  • Facilitate design workshops and coordination meetings to ensure smooth communication and efficient project progress.

Presentations and Reporting:

  • Prepare and deliver design presentations, visual materials, and technical reports to communicate design intent effectively to stakeholders.
  • Support senior management with design progress updates and documentation.

Design Tools and Software Utilization:

  • Utilize a range of design and visualization software to develop high-quality drawings, renderings, and design presentations.

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and attributes
:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Urban Design, or Landscape Architecture (Master's degree preferred).
  • +10 years of professional experience in urban and landscape design, preferably within large-scale or high-profile projects.
  • Proven experience in managing complex, multidisciplinary design processes.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign, and other landscape design tools.
  • Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
  • Ability to mentor junior team members and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
  • A creative mindset with a deep understanding of design excellence and functionality.
