Job Summary

The Planning Engineer is responsible for preparing, monitoring, and updating project schedules, coordinating with all departments to ensure timely project delivery, and maintaining progress reports in line with the company's objectives and contractual requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, update, and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
  • Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and procurement teams to ensure alignment with the baseline plan.
  • Prepare and analyze weekly and monthly progress reports, highlighting delays and recovery plans.
  • Review project drawings, BOQs, and contracts to develop logical work sequences and durations.
  • Track project performance and identify potential risks or delays.
  • Participate in project progress meetings and provide data-driven insights for decision-making.
  • Update and maintain resource histograms, manpower and equipment curves, and cash flow forecasts.
  • Support

in
claims, extension of time (EOT),

and project control documentation.
- Ensure full compliance with company policies, safety standards, and quality procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. (Master's degree or CPA/CMA certification is a plus.)
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the construction or contracting field.
  • Strong command of financial reporting standards and Egyptian tax laws
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, Odoo is a +Plus.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
