Location: Giza, Egypt

ValueTech is seeking a qualified
IT Specialist and Odoo ERP Developer
to join our Operations Department. The role supports the enhancement of our information systems, the development of Odoo modules, and the administration of networks, hardware, software, and company domains. This position plays a central role in strengthening the technical foundations that support our 30 years of operational excellence in mechanical distribution and engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • • Develops, customizes, and maintains Odoo ERP modules. Ensures that workflows and integrations align with departmental requirements.
  • • Applies programming languages, particularly Python, to implement and support module modifications.
  • • Works with management and internal teams on the application of ERP modules to business functions.
  • • Administers networks, hardware, software, and system domains. Ensures continuity, stability, and security.
  • • Manages company data on the server and supports backup and disaster recovery processes.
  • • Conducts diagnostics to identify or prevent system errors. Coordinates with internal staff and vendors to resolve issues.
  • • Provides technical support to employees and introduces IT best practices.
  • • Maintains documentation and asset records for all relevant equipment and systems.
  • • Trains staff on the application and features of Odoo modules.

Requirements

  • • Proficiency in Odoo ERP administration and development.
  • • Strong ability to code in Python and work with XML for customization.
  • • Excellent knowledge of computers, networks, hardware, software, and domains.
  • • Ability to communicate technical information clearly in both English and Arabic.
  • • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a relevant field.
  • • Approximately 2-4 years of experience in a relevant role.
