Senior MRP Engineer

Job Description:

• Develop, implement, and maintain MRP systems to ensure accurate material planning aligned with production forecasts and master schedules.
• Analyze and verify Bill of Materials (BOMs), inventory data, and lead times to ensure accurate material demand planning.
• Coordinate with Procurement and Supply Chain teams to monitor purchase orders, supplier delivery schedules, and potential material shortages.
• Work with the Production Planning team to convert production plans into material requirements, ensuring synchronization between production and supply.
• Conduct periodic MRP runs and analyses, adjusting parameters as needed to optimize inventory levels and minimize excess or obsolete materials.
• Monitor material flow through all CKD stages (Receiving – Warehouse – Line Feeding – Production – Delivery).
• Prepare weekly and monthly material planning reports, including material status, shortages, and deviation analyses.
• Support new model introductions and engineering changes by updating material master data and ensuring smooth transitions in MRP.
• Collaborate with IT and ERP teams to enhance system accuracy, reporting, and automation of MRP processes.
• Ensure compliance with OEM standards, internal policies, and ISO requirements related to materials planning and inventory management.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in Material Planning / MRP within an automotive manufacturing or CKD environment.
• Strong knowledge of MRP logic, BOM management, production planning principles, and inventory control.
• Hands-on experience using ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data management skills.
• Strong communication and coordination abilities across departments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Just-in-Time (JIT) concepts is a plus.
