Role Description

Egyptian Clothing Bank is looking for a talented and passionate
Creative Writer
to craft compelling, inspiring, and authentic content that reflects our mission and humanitarian values. The ideal candidate will transform our initiatives, stories, and impact into engaging narratives across social media, website, campaigns, and publications — helping us raise awareness, inspire action, and connect deeply with our community.

Key Responsibilities

• Write, edit, and proofread high-quality content for social media, website, newsletters, press releases, and reports.
• Develop storytelling pieces that highlight beneficiaries' success stories, donor impact, and volunteer experiences.
• Collaborate with design and digital teams to create engaging visuals, videos, and campaign materials.
• Draft press releases and speeches for leadership and media communication.
• Support sustainability and impact reporting with clear, inspiring, and accurate copy.
• Ensure all written materials reflect ECB's tone, identity, and communication goals.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in content writing or communications, preferably in sustainability or nonprofit sectors.
• Excellent command of Arabic and English (written and verbal).
• Strong storytelling, editing, and creative writing skills.
• Ability to craft culturally relevant, audience-focused messages.
• Familiarity with social media best practices, CMS, and SEO basics.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
