Tagaddod is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Accountant (AP) to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors while maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures. You will play a crucial role in maintaining strong relationships with vendors and cross-departmental teams.

Responsibilities
  • Process and record incoming invoices, ensuring the accuracy of billing information.
  • Match purchase orders with invoices and verify receipt of goods or services.
  • Prepare and process payment batches, ensuring timely disbursement of payments.
  • Maintain accurate vendor records and manage vendor inquiries.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes related to accounts payable.
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies.
  • Prepare reports related to accounts payable metrics and analyze expenses.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and company policies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable processes.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with vendors.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
