Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Technical Engineer. The position is based in New Cairo, with the flexibility to work partially from home. The Technical Engineer will be responsible for installing, configuring, and troubleshooting smart home systems, ensuring seamless system integration and reliable functionality. Daily tasks will include assessing client needs, configuring wireless and wired protocols, providing technical support, and conducting on-site system maintenance when required.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in smart home technologies, including Z-Wave and KNX protocols
  • Strong skills in system installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
  • Experience in technical support, system maintenance, and customer interaction
  • Familiarity with electrical systems, networking, and IoT devices
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and adaptability
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • Relevant certifications or prior experience in home automation solutions is a plus
  • 2 to 3 years experience in smart home automation field
