Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Health & Safety Officer. The Safety officer will be responsible for ensuring a Safe and Healthy Work Environment, Implementing HSE policies and procedures, conducting site inspections, maintaining safe working conditions, promoting a Safety culture, recommending corrective actions, reporting Incidents

Qualifications:

  • The Education in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental, or any related fields.

Training & Certifications:

  • OSHA (General or Construction) certification.
  • First Aid and Firefighting training.
  • Risk Assessment courses.
  • Any additional relevant HSE qualifications will be an asset.

Experience:

  • Minimum of
    3-5 years
    of relevant HSE experience in construction or industrial projects.
  • Previous experience in Solar projects is considered an advantage.

Job Description:

  • Implement company HSE policies, procedures, and legal requirements on site.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with applicable safety standards.
  • Deliver HSE inductions, toolbox talks, and training sessions for site personnel.
  • Report incidents, conduct thorough investigations, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
  • Coordinate closely with the site team to maintain safe working conditions at all times.
