Ecotel is looking to hire a highly motivated and experienced " Mechanical Engineer" with the below qualifications and requirements:

Job responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer needs and provide tailored mechanical engineering solutions for data centers.

  • Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proposal discussions to address client requirements.

  • Solution Design and Engineering:

  • Design and recommend mechanical systems for data centers, including precision cooling, HVAC, ventilation, and thermal management systems.

  • Perform calculations related to heat loads, airflow management, and energy efficiency.

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards (ASHRAE, ANSI, ISO, etc.) and local regulations.

  • Proposal Development:

  • Prepare detailed technical proposals, including system designs, cost estimates, and technical documentation.

  • Create project-specific layouts, schematics, and diagrams to support solution development.

  • Client Engagement:

  • Serve as the technical point of contact for clients during the presales phase.

  • Conduct site visits and assessments to evaluate existing infrastructure and develop recommendations.

  • Collaboration and Coordination:

  • Work closely with internal teams (e.g., sales, product management, and project engineering) to align mechanical solutions with overall data center infrastructure.

  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for technical specifications, pricing, and solution components.

  • Market and Product Knowledge:

  • Stay up to date with advancements in data center cooling technologies and mechanical systems.

  • Understand competitor offerings and industry trends to provide innovative solutions.

Key Qualifications:

  1. Educational Background:

  2. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

  3. Experience:

  4. at least 3 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in data center environments or mission-critical facilities.

  5. Previous experience in Design , or tender

  6. Technical Skills:

  7. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, precision cooling, fire suppression systems, and mechanical design principles.

  8. Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software.

  9. Familiarity with energy efficiency standards, PUE (Power Usage Effectiveness), and sustainability considerations.

  10. Soft Skills:

  11. Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  12. Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric mindset.
  13. Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
