Deliver engaging and comprehensive mathematics lessons to upper primary students in the National Section, ensuring alignment with the national curriculum standards.

  • Develop and implement lesson plans, instructional materials, and classroom activities that foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Assess and monitor student progress through regular assignments, quizzes, and examinations, providing constructive feedback to support individual learning needs.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment that encourages active participation and respect among students.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching methods and educational technologies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, school administration, and parents to support student development and address academic or behavioral concerns.
  • Participate in school events, professional development workshops, and departmental meetings to stay updated with best teaching practices.
  • Prepare students for standardized tests and school assessments, ensuring they meet or exceed grade-level expectations.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance in accordance with school policies.
  • Contribute to the development and review of mathematics curriculum and teaching resources for the National Section.
Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.

  • 3 to 5 years of proven experience teaching mathematics at the upper primary level, preferably within the National Section.
  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment standards for primary education.
  • Excellent classroom management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to design and deliver engaging, student-centered lessons.
  • Proficiency in using educational technology and digital tools to enhance learning.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Willingness to participate in extracurricular activities and school events.
  • Fluency in English and/or Arabic, as required by the school s language of instruction.
