Role Description

  • Monitor and control project and operational costs to ensure adherence to budgets and financial targets.
  • Prepare, analyze, and report on cost variances, identifying areas for cost optimization and recommending corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with project managers, finance, and procurement teams to ensure accurate cost allocation and forecasting.
  • Develop and maintain detailed cost tracking systems, ensuring data accuracy and timely reporting.
  • Conduct regular audits of expenses and financial records to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans for ongoing and upcoming projects.
  • Review and validate supplier invoices, contracts, and purchase orders for accuracy and alignment with project budgets.
  • Generate comprehensive cost reports and present findings to management and stakeholders.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes by providing accurate cost data and analysis.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve cost control processes and implement best practices.

Qualifications

  • Experience Needed 3 to 6 years in Cost Control and Cost Accounting
  • Strong Analytical Skills and proficiency in Financial analysis
  • Knowledge in Cost Management and budget forecasting
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Experience in the construction industry is a Must.
