Job Purpose:

To manage and control all accounts payable activities, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant processing of supplier invoices and payments, while maintaining strong internal controls and effective communication with vendors and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process, verify, and record supplier invoices in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Ensure timely preparation and execution of vendor payments while optimizing cash flow.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Maintain accurate accounts payable records and supporting documentation.
  • Review purchase orders, contracts, and receiving documents to ensure proper matching and authorization.
  • Prepare accounts payable aging reports and support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations related to payables.
  • Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain positive supplier relationships.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve AP processes and internal controls.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 2–4 years of experience in accounts payable or accounting roles
  • Good understanding of local tax and regulatory requirements
