Description

We are looking for a Senior Video Editor to join our dynamic media team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in video editing, post-production processes, and a keen eye for detail. This role involves collaborating with creative directors, producers, and other team members to create compelling video content that aligns with our brand and marketing strategies. The Senior Video Editor will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality. Proficiency in industry-standard editing software, strong storytelling skills, and the ability to work under pressure are essential. This position offers an opportunity to contribute creatively to various projects, including commercials, corporate videos, social media content, and more. The successful candidate will also mentor junior editors and stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in video production.

Responsibilities

  • Edit and assemble raw footage into polished videos.
  • Collaborate with creative teams to understand project requirements.
  • Manage multiple video projects and meet deadlines.
  • Ensure video content aligns with brand guidelines.
  • Mentor and guide junior video editors.
  • Stay updated with latest video editing software and trends.
  • Optimize video content for various platforms.
  • Incorporate feedback from stakeholders effectively.
  • Maintain organized project files and archives.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues during editing.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a video editor, preferably senior level.
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
  • Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and compression.
  • Excellent storytelling and visual composition skills.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience with motion graphics and visual effects is a plus.
  • Attention to detail and high-quality standards.
  • Knowledge of color grading and sound editing.
  • Bachelor's degree in film, Media, or related field preferred.
