Overview Of The Role:

• The Forklift Operator plays a critical role in ensuring the warehouse operations are conducted safely and efficiently, contributing to high goods availability for IKEA stores. Tasked with executing warehouse operations with precision, they are responsible for maintaining inventory integrity and supporting the fulfillment team. Success in this role hinges on a deep understanding of IKEA's processes, commitment to safety, and proactive support to team efforts.

What You Will Do:
General

• Execute the store warehouse tasks efficiently and on time to ensure high goods availability.
• Maintain data integrity of the inventory by following inventory and administrative guidelines.
• Ensure warehouse operations are performed with high accuracy and safety.
• Prepare and pick orders for stores efficiently.
• Support colleagues in the department and other areas of the store as needed.
• Comply with all IKEA health, safety, and security rules and requirements; actively help prevent incidents involving colleagues, third parties, equipment, and buildings.
• Contribute to the agreed goals of the daily action plan.
• Use knowledge of IKEA operations to enhance warehouse efficiency.

Required Skills To Be Successful:

• Proficiency in warehouse operations and logistics processes.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a confident communication style.
• Strict adherence to safety guidelines and attention to detail.

What Qualifies You For The Role:

• 2-3 years of experience in warehouse procedures.
• Knowledge of retail and logistics processes, tools, and methods.
• Driving license for Forklift machines.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including early and late shifts.
• Familiarity with IKEA culture, values, and organizational structure.
