Role Overview:

The
Senior Product Owner – PSA & FinTech Systems
will partner closely with the Product Manager to shape and deliver the vision for the company's Professional Services Automation (PSA) and financial management ecosystem. This role bridges business strategy and technical execution, translating complex business and financial objectives into actionable Agile deliverables.

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our PSA platform — encompassing project delivery, resource optimization, billing automation, and financial performance tracking — integrates seamlessly with FinTech solutions to drive operational efficiency, profitability, and scalability.

As a key member of the Product Management team, you will own the product backlog, define and prioritize features, and work with global cross-functional teams to deliver secure, data-driven, and compliant product releases that meet both client and internal business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Product Strategy & Planning

• Collaborate with the Product Manager to develop and execute the PSA and FinTech product strategy in alignment with organizational goals and market trends.
• Conduct competitive and market research to identify emerging needs in
  financial automation, digital payments, forecasting, and revenue management
  .
• Contribute to defining the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business growth, service excellence, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Identify opportunities for PSA–FinTech integration to improve financial transparency, real-time reporting, and automated billing.

2. Agile Delivery & Backlog Ownership

• Own and manage the PSA product backlog — translating strategic priorities into clear, detailed epics and user stories.
• Define acceptance criteria, business rules, and workflows for key modules, including
  project management, resource planning, time & expense tracking, billing, payments, and revenue recognition
  .
• Work closely with Scrum Masters, Developers, and QA Engineers to ensure seamless delivery and technical alignment.
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies — sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Monitor delivery progress and ensure adherence to quality, performance, and compliance standards (e.g., financial audit and data security).

3. User Story Development & Validation

• Write detailed, outcome-focused user stories that capture business value, financial impact, and user experience.
• Partner with stakeholders to validate and refine requirements before sprint inclusion.
• Leverage tools such as
  JIRA, Confluence, and Power BI/Tableau
  for backlog management, documentation, and analytical insight.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate across departments — including
  Finance, Operations, HR, Project Management, and IT
  — to identify process challenges and translate them into PSA or FinTech product improvements.
• Partner with UX/UI teams to deliver intuitive, user-centered experiences that promote adoption and operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with international development and QA teams to ensure consistent, on-time delivery across global time zones.

5. Product Delivery & Optimization

• Manage the end-to-end PSA product lifecycle — from concept and development through testing, deployment, and adoption.
• Analyze user feedback, operational KPIs, and system performance to identify enhancement opportunities.
• Partner with the Product Manager to prioritize high-value initiatives, ensuring alignment with business and financial outcomes.
• Collaborate on integrations with ERP, CRM, and FinTech platforms for
  automated billing, reconciliation, and forecasting
  .

6. Continuous Improvement & Process Refinement

• Drive continuous improvement across Agile and product delivery processes.
• Contribute to internal product documentation, release notes, and user training materials.
• Support communication and stakeholder engagement through demos, product roadshows, and status updates.

Qualifications & Experience:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (Master's preferred).

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience as a
  Product Owner or Business Analyst
  within PSA, ERP, or
  FinTech
  environments.
• Strong understanding of
  Professional Services Automation
  workflows — including project planning, resource allocation, time tracking, and billing automation.
• Experience with
  financial systems integration
  , digital payment workflows, and revenue automation tools.
• Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies and backlog management.
• Proven ability to write detailed user stories, define acceptance criteria, and collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams.
• Hands-on experience with
  JIRA, Confluence, and financial data tools
  (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL).
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

PSA / Business Process / Financial Systems Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP) – PMI
• Lean Six Sigma – Green Belt or higher
• Financial Systems or ERP Certification (e.g., NetSuite, Workday, Oracle Cloud, or Salesforce FinancialForce)
