RFQ Packages: Lead the development and compilation of comprehensive RFQ packages. Ensure all project drawings, technical requirements, and standards are clearly defined and communicated to potential vendors.

Vendor Shop Drawing Submission Plan: Design and oversee a detailed shop drawing submission plan for all projects, aligning with procurement schedules and project timelines. Monitor submissions to meet deadlines.

Technical Proposal Review (Pricing Stage): Conduct in-depth reviews of vendor technical proposals. Assess compliance with project specifications and standards; provide constructive feedback and recommendations.

Vendor Technical Capacity Assessment: Evaluate vendors' technical capabilities, resources, and infrastructure to ensure they can meet project demands.

Collaboration with Vendors: Build strong working relationships with selected vendors, share detailed technical packages, and provide clear guidelines on shop drawing expectations. Facilitate open communication to address queries promptly.

Follow-Up on Shop Drawings: Proactively follow up with vendors to ensure timely shop drawing submissions; address delays or issues and propose solutions to keep the process on track.

Shop Drawing Review and Compliance: Thoroughly review vendor shop drawings against project documents and specs. Identify discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions to ensure compliance with standards.

Consultant Approval Submission: Prepare and submit vendor shop drawings for consultant approval; collaborate with consultants to streamline the review process.

Consultant Communication: Engage with consultants to discuss shop drawings and address feedback or modifications required for final approval.

Handling Client/Consultant Comments: If client/consultant comments are not covered by project documents, raise Variation Orders (VOs) and ensure proper documentation and stakeholder communication.

Distribution of Approved Drawings: Ensure timely distribution of final approved shop drawings to vendors, clearly communicating all consultant comments and revisions, and monitor implementation during project execution.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Architecture (Master's preferred). Senior-level experience coordinating shop drawings with vendors.

Proven experience in RFQ preparation, technical proposal evaluation, and vendor shop drawing planning.

Strong understanding of design standards, project documentation (drawings, specifications), and coordination with consultants and clients.

Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic (written and spoken).

Strong analytical, technical review, negotiation, coordination, and follow-up abilities.

Highly organized with excellent time management and deadline discipline.

Proficiency with drawing/software tools (AutoCAD, Revit) and BIM workflows; experience with ERP/Procurement systems is a plus.
