System Administrator

Location: New Cairo – Reap Holding Group

Full-time | On-site

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and manage servers and related systems in a virtualized environment

Monitor server performance and availability, implementing necessary optimizations

Perform routine system updates, patches, and backups to ensure data integrity and security

Troubleshoot server issues and provide timely resolutions to minimize downtime

Develop and maintain documentation related to server configurations, processes, and procedures

Collaborate with network engineers and IT support personnel to troubleshoot and resolve cross-functional issues

Implement and enforce security policies to protect server environments

Stay informed on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and security threats

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

3-5 years of experience in server administration or a similar role

Strong knowledge of Windows server and Linux server environments

Experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware, Hyper-V and proxmox

Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) for automation tasks

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset

Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSE, RHCE) are a plus
