About the job

We are seeking committed, flexible, and supportive English instructors and co-instructors to join our classes at Salah Salem (near Nasr City / Masr El gedida).

The ideal candidate is passionate about teaching, can create an engaging and positive learning environment, and is committed to helping students develop strong English communication skills.

Key areas of responsibility :

  • Deliver interactive lessons to adults in accordance with Berlitz teaching principles; and focused on the interests and needs of the students, working with groups of different sizes.
  • Integrate learning technology into teaching programs, as required by the curriculum.
  • Assess existing and prospective customers' level of proficiency.
  • Provide effective feedback and advice.
  • Maintain an impeccable customer focus in the delivery of all duties.
  • Actively participate in own professional self-development plan, directed and supported by the supervisor, including lesson and peer observations, workshops, etc.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in any field (Languages, linguistics, translation, etc.) is preferred.
  • Educated native proficiency / near-native fluency in English.
  • Committed and available from 9 AM to 6 PM or from 1 PM to 6 PM.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Teaching experience of business English is preferred.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Great sense of responsibility and flexibility.
  • Undergrads are welcome to apply as co-instructors.
