Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Site Mechanical Engineer, based in Heliopolis. The Site Mechanical Engineer will oversee and coordinate the mechanical aspects of construction projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, codes, and safety standards. Daily tasks include supervising installation and maintenance of mechanical systems, preparing detailed reports, liaising with project teams, and resolving technical issues on-site. The engineer will also manage resources and ensure project timelines and quality are adhered to effectively.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge and experience in Mechanical Engineering and Machine Design
  • Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and related software
  • Skills in Project Management to ensure timely and budget-compliant project delivery
  • Experience in Research and Development (R&D) for innovative mechanical solutions
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Understanding of local and international construction safety and quality standards
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Relevant on-site engineering experience is preferred
