Company Description

Holw El Sham for Food Industries is one of the leading FMCG companies in Egypt and the Middle East works in the field of Mix Powder, Juice, Biscuits, Cake, Jam, Halawa Tahina, Tomato Paste, Chocolate, Coffee Mix, Qamar Eldin, Halawet Moled (sugar candies) and Confectionery Supplies such as (Chocolate – Cream Chante – Sponge Cake, Cherry – ICE Cream – etc.). The founder of Holw El Sham is Mr. Abd El Moneim Bayoumi, the Chairman of the board and an old member of the Egyptian Chamber of Food Industries, also a member of Investors Association, the Egyptian Businessmen Association and the Egyptian-Kenyan Business Council, incorporated the company in 1991.

Role Description

  • Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance plans to minimize downtime.
  • Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for equipment failures to ensure quick and effective problem resolution.
  • Supervise and coach maintenance engineers and technicians to enhance technical skills and performance.
  • Coordinate with production and quality departments to schedule maintenance without affecting productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations.
  • Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate procurement of maintenance materials.
  • Monitor KPIs such as MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) and MTTR (Mean Time To Repair) to improve efficiency.
  • Participate in CAPEX projects for new equipment installation and factory upgrades.
  • Prepare maintenance budgets and control maintenance costs within set targets.
  • Ensure proper documentation of maintenance activities and equipment history.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in
    FMCG or food manufacturing
    .
  • Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance systems.
  • Experience with utilities (boilers, compressors, chillers, etc.) is a plus.
  • Excellent leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good knowledge of ERP or CMMS maintenance software.
  • Proficiency in English and strong communication skills.
