Job Title: Biomedical Engineer

Job Summary:

The Biomedical Engineer is responsible for the installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of medical devices. The role also involves supporting sales activities related to the assigned medical equipment and their consumables, ensuring proper product knowledge, customer satisfaction, and smooth workflow in both technical and commercial aspects.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Duties:

Install, configure, and commission medical equipment at customer sites.

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.

Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely on-site support to end users.

Conduct equipment operation training for medical staff and end users.

Ensure compliance with safety standards, manufacturer guidelines, and hospital requirements.

Prepare technical reports, maintenance logs, and service documentation.

Sales & Commercial Support:

Support the sales team in promoting medical devices and related consumables.

Participate in product demonstrations and presentations to customers.

Follow up with clients regarding equipment needs, consumables usage, and replenishment cycles.

Coordinate with the sales department to prepare quotations, proposals, and tenders related to the assigned equipment.

Provide technical insights to support purchasing decisions and product selection.

Build strong relationships with key accounts to ensure high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field.

Strong knowledge of medical devices installation, operation, and maintenance.

Good understanding of healthcare environments and clinical workflows.

Excellent communication and customer-handling skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Strong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting abilities.

Experience in sales support or product promotion is a plus.

Additional Competencies:

Attention to detail and commitment to quality service.

Ability to provide training and clear technical guidance.

Willingness to travel for installations, maintenance, and customer visits.
