What you do
- Getting offers from other providers based on the benchmark that the doctor reached with the original provider.
- Drafting and sending a mail with the original provider cost and alternatives to be sent to the concerned team for each policy for case management approval.
- Arranging the process after receiving the provider choice from the concerned department.
- Following up with the provider that the surgery has been done and making sure that the invoice was closed with the agreed amount.
- Following up pending cases and closing finished cases in the case management log sheet.
- Calculating savings on monthly basis
What you bring
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer service experience in a the medical field
- Medical Practical Experience (reputable insurance provider, broker or a TPA experience a plus)
- Knowledge of overall insurance industry practices is a plus; the ability to exercise initiatives and be able to work flexibly under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Strong negotiations and presentation skills.
