Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a
Senior Accountant
with a robust background in Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and General Ledger (GL) operations. The ideal candidate must be proficient in ERP systems, with a strong command of financial reporting, bank reconciliations, and credit analysis.

You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial operations and providing valuable insights to support our business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable (AR) Management:

  • Manage work and billing processes, including generating invoices for customers using ERP.
  • Manage and update accounts receivable, generating customer statements.
  • Analyze customer credit limits, monitor collections, and generate delinquency reports.
  • Prepare AR journal entries, handle accruals, and manage closing activities.
  • Coordinate collection strategies to reduce Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).

Accounts Payable (AP) Processing:

  • Accurately process and record supplier invoices and manage payment scheduling.
  • Issue and record AP transactions using SAP
    ERP.
  • Manage vendor payments and conduct vendor statement reconciliation.

General Ledger (GL) & Financial Reporting:

  • Maintain the general ledger, prepare journal entries, and review the trial balance.
  • Prepare profit and loss statements and analyze monthly financial performance.
  • Conduct accurate and timely bank reconciliations.
  • Contribute to the preparation of financial statements (Balance Sheets, Income Statements) and management reports.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and support audit documentation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (Accounting Major).
  • Proven professional experience as an Accountant, with a minimum of 4-5 years of experience in AR, AP, and GL functions.
  • ERP Systems Proficiency
    is mandatory, and advanced proficiency in
    MS Excel
    and the Office Suite for financial data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving, and team collaboration abilities.
  • Good command of the English language (written and spoken).
