Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable Cybersecurity Presales Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for cybersecurity, stay updated on industry trends, and possess the ability to deliver tailored solutions to clients. This role involves working both on-site at client locations (with potential travel) and in-office, ensuring timely project delivery and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead presales activities, including Proof of Concepts (PoCs), Bill of Quantities (BoQ) preparation, security design support, proposal writing, product presentations, and training delivery.
  • Provide technical presales support to potential and existing customers, partners, and resellers to promote and sell cybersecurity products and solutions.
  • Develop and deliver security engineering designs and implementation plans for comprehensive security solutions.
  • Respond to customer RFPs by creating cost-effective designs and bills of materials.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their technical and business challenges, and effectively communicating these to the sales team.
  • Conduct cloud security assessments and ensure compliance with national and international cybersecurity standards.
  • Manage projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to client requirements.
  • Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents, leveraging advanced tools and methodologies.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2-4 years of experience in the cybersecurity field.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of computer, ICT networking systems.
    • Proficiency in penetration testing tools and methodologies.
    • Experience with vulnerability assessment tools and techniques.
    • Familiarity with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) frameworks.
    • Hands-on experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Oracle).
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong customer interaction and troubleshooting abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and lead teams in large-scale projects.
    • Capability to perform under pressure during cybersecurity incidents.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Cybersecurity and networking certifications (e.g., CCNA, Fortinet, Palo Alto).
  • Experience in Privileged Access Management (PAM) and Security Operations Center (SOC) environments.
  • Cloud computing certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure, Oracle).
  • Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification.
