Role Overview

InVitro Capital is seeking a Senior IT Specialist with deep technical expertise and a proactive, automation-first mindset. This is a hands-on leadership role — not a basic IT support position. We're looking for someone who thrives in cloud-native ecosystems, architecting scalable infrastructure, automating complex workflows, and driving operational excellence across InVitro Capital and its portfolio companies.

As a Senior IT Specialist, you will own and evolve our IT systems landscape, leading automation initiatives, securing endpoints, and resolving Tier 1–3 support escalations with precision and accountability. Your expertise will directly shape the security, scalability, and reliability of our operations across multiple fast-growing startups.

What You'll Do

• Comprehensive Technical Support: Provide and oversee Tier 1–3 technical support across systems, ensuring swift issue resolution and exceptional internal user experience.
• Systems Architecture & Scaling: Design, maintain, and scale infrastructure, systems, and automations across InVitro and its portfolio companies.
• Workflow Automation: Lead automation of onboarding, offboarding, and IT processes using tools like N8N, Zapier, Google Admin SDK, or custom scripting (Python, Apps Script).
• SaaS Ecosystem Management: Integrate, secure, and optimize critical SaaS tools including Google Workspace, HubSpot, Pioneer, Slack, Notion, and others.
• Device & Endpoint Security: Oversee provisioning, patch management, and endpoint protection using MDM/XDR/EDR tools.
• Identity & Access Governance: Implement and manage SSO, MFA, and access policies across multiple systems.
• Documentation & Knowledge Management: Build and maintain SOPs, runbooks, and system architecture documentation.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify and lead initiatives for automation, efficiency, and security enhancements across IT processes.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years in an IT Specialist, Systems Engineer, or SysAdmin role within cloud-native or hybrid environments.
• Advanced expertise in Google Workspace Admin, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), and modern SaaS systems architecture.
• Proven experience in workflow automation platforms (N8N, Zapier, Make, Google Apps Script).
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical and diagnostic skills across cloud integrations, APIs, and system-level issues.
• Experience with MDM, XDR, or EDR solutions for endpoint management and security.
• Demonstrated success supporting distributed, multi-time-zone teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clear documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience deploying and managing asset management platforms or remote provisioning systems.
• Background in fast-paced startup or venture-backed environments.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 or ISO 27001.
• Understanding of identity federation and zero-trust architecture principles.
