Role Description

responsible for mixing, matching, and preparing inks to meet specific color and quality standards for printing jobs. Their duties include conducting quality control tests, maintaining equipment, managing ink inventory, and providing technical support to production teams

Qualifications

• Ink preparation and mixing:
   Create and adjust ink formulas to meet client specifications and production requirements.
• Color matching:
   Use tools like spectrophotometers to precisely match colors and create color-matched drawdowns for approval.
• Quality control:
   Perform tests on ink batches for properties like viscosity and consistency to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Inventory management:
   Maintain an accurate inventory of ink raw materials and finished products, including tracking usage and handling returns.
• Technical support:
   Work with press operators and production staff to troubleshoot ink-related issues during production runs and maintain color consistency on press.
