The Role

We're looking for a highly skilled and motivated
Accounting Supervisor
to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily accounting operations for a portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. You will also lead and mentor a team of junior accountants, review their work, and act as a key point of contact for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the daily and monthly accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
  • Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements prepared by the accounting team.
  • Manage month-end and year-end close processes for multiple clients.
  • Ensure all accounting activities comply with local regulations and accounting standards (e.g., IFRS/Egyptian GAAP).
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and training to junior accounting staff.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and deliver exceptional client service.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

  • Location:
    Must be able to work from our office in
    Tagammoa, New Cairo
    .
  • Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory or senior accounting role.
  • Previous experience in a consulting firm or with multiple clients is a plus.

  • Language:
    Fluent in written and spoken English
    is essential, as you will be communicating directly with international clients.

  • Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proven leadership and team-management skills.
