Company Description
Hanimex, a leading retail chain specializing in wooden and metal furniture and accessories with seven branches across Egypt, is seeking a Human Resources Manager with strategic vision and foundational experience.
We are looking for an HR leader who has the ability to build an HR department from scratch, establish administrative systems and structures, and restructure the company to support expansion and growth in a multi-branch retail environment.
Role Description
1.
Foundational & Restructuring:
- Establish and develop the entire Human Resources (HR) System, including policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
Lead the company's organizational and functional restructuring process to ensure central management efficiency and branch activation.
Branch and Operations Management:
Design and implement policies and regulations for managing labor across the geographically distributed branches (7 branches), ensuring uniformity and compliance.
Manage recruitment and selection programs to ensure the necessary competencies for sales, customer service, and warehouse management across the branches.
Performance and Compensation Management:
Develop a performance evaluation system focused on key performance indicators (KPIs) for the retail and sales sector.
Manage and implement the compensation and benefits system for a large number of employees and design incentives linked to sales performance and sub-goals.
Training, Development, and Culture:
Develop specialized training programs to enhance the skills of the sales and customer service teams.
Work to build a strong and unified corporate culture across all branches.
Legal Compliance: Full knowledge of Egyptian labor laws and their amendments.
Qualifications
- Mandatory Experience: At least Fifteen years of practical experience in the field of human resources, including at least Five years in a leadership role in retail companies or companies with multiple branches/extensive distribution networks.
- Foundational Experience: Proven experience in establishing and implementing (or comprehensively restructuring) human resources systems from scratch or during a transformation phase.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent. Professional certifications (such as SHRM or CIPD) are preferred.
- Workforce Management: Experience managing and managing a high employee count in a changing environment.
- Strategic Thinking: The ability to translate the company's growth objectives into concrete human resources plans.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional ability to establish structures, policies, and procedures.
- Communication and Remote Management: The ability to manage geographically dispersed teams and communicate effectively with branch managers.
- Proficiency in English is essential.
