Urban Planner

We are currently looking for Urban Planners to join our team in Cairo, Egypt. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and contribute to complex, multidisciplinary urban development projects in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, your key responsibilities will include:

· Conduct urban analysis, including economic, socio-demographic, cultural, environmental, and spatial assessments.

· Assist in preparing land use plans, zoning regulations, and development control guidelines.

· Support the development of master plans, feasibility studies, and urban policy frameworks in line with local and international standards.

· Contribute to the preparation of technical proposals and planning documents.

· Work on digitizing and managing data within GIS and urban databases.

· Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams (urban design, architecture, landscape, engineering) to ensure coordinated project delivery.

· Participate in stakeholder engagement and client presentations.

QUALIFICATIONS

We envision you have:

· A Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Urban Design, or a related discipline.

· 2–5 years of professional experience in urban planning or development projects.

· Experience in GCC or MENA region projects is desirable.

You should also demonstrate:

· Proficiency in ArcGIS / ArcGIS Pro.

· Strong skills in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar design/modeling tools.

· Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

· Good knowledge of site analysis, spatial planning, and feasibility studies.

· Excellent written and verbal communication in English (Arabic is a plus).

· Strong organizational, analytical, and teamwork abilities.

· Familiarity with local and international planning codes and sustainability standards.
