The Robost Fellow Program

The Robost Fellow program is a unique, research-intensive opportunity for the next generation of leaders in AI and cybersecurity. This isn't a typical internship. You will be a fully integrated member of our core research and development team, working directly with our founders to discover, document, and defend against novel AI vulnerabilities. You will gain unparalleled experience at the intersection of offensive security and Generative AI, with a core goal of

What You'll Do

  • Lead a Research Project:
    Take ownership of a novel research topic in AI security, from hypothesis to conclusion.
  • Investigate New Attacks:
    Systematically research, test, and document new and emerging adversarial attack vectors targeting Generative AI systems.
  • Contribute to Publications:
    Your primary goal will be to co-author a conference paper, workshop submission, or technical blog post based on your research findings.
  • Conduct Red Teaming:
    Apply your research by performing hands-on security assessments of LLM applications, testing for vulnerabilities like Prompt Injection, Data Poisoning, and Excessive Agency.
  • Build the Platform:
    Implement your research findings into our core red teaming platform, creating new attack modules and automated detectors.
  • Analyze & Report:
    Help create comprehensive vulnerability reports, mapping findings to frameworks like the
    OWASP Top 10 for LLM Apps
    .

What We're Looking For

  • A demonstrable passion for cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, or both.
  • Strong programming skills (e.g., Python, JavaScript/TypeScript).
  • A "breaker" mindset—you have a natural curiosity for how systems work and how they can be broken.
  • A "builder" mindset—you love to create tools and solve problems.
  • Proven research interest
    or experience (academic or personal projects).
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and written communication skills.
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree (M.S. or Ph.D. preferred, B.S. with research experience considered) in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, AI, or a related field.

Bonus Points (Nice to Have):

  • Previous publications in security, AI, or ML conferences/journals.
  • Familiarity with security concepts (e.g., OWASP, XSS, SQLi).
  • Participation in CTFs, bug bounties, or security research.
  • Contributions to open-source projects (especially in security or AI).
