Role Overview

The Motion Designer will translate raw client input into polished, on-brand motion designs that bring ideas to life through modern, cinematic storytelling. This role involves shaping creative direction, sourcing references, and executing motion graphics that are intentional, visually engaging, and aligned with brand standards. The Motion Designer will collaborate closely with creative and marketing teams to ensure every project reflects the brand's voice and resonates with its target audience.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Direction & Concept Development

• Collaborate with teams to understand project requirements, brand vision, and creative expectations.

• Develop creative concepts, pull visual references, and define the overall style and direction for motion projects.

• Ensure all motion design work aligns with brand guidelines while integrating fresh, contemporary ideas.

Motion Design Execution

• Create visually compelling motion graphics, animations, and video content for marketing and digital platforms.

• Maintain a high standard of design quality and consistency across all deliverables.

• Develop story-driven animations that enhance brand messaging and engage audiences.

Collaboration & Feedback

• Work closely with creative and marketing teams to refine designs and meet project goals.

• Implement client and stakeholder feedback efficiently to deliver final products that exceed expectations.

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and consistent quality.

Brand Consistency & Quality Assurance

• Maintain cohesive visual identity across all motion design projects.

• Incorporate smooth transitions, refined animations, and thoughtful storytelling into every deliverable.

• Stay current with trends in motion design to continually elevate the brand's visual presence.

Tool Proficiency & AI-Generated Design

• Utilize advanced design software such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator.

• Apply knowledge of AI generative design tools (e.g., MidJourney, Runway, or similar) to enhance innovation and efficiency in content creation.

Qualifications

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in motion design, with a strong portfolio showcasing motion graphics, animation, and video content creation.

• Proficient in Adobe Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator); experience with Figma is a plus.

• Familiarity with AI generative design tools (e.g., MidJourney, Runway, or similar) is a plus.

Skills

• Strong design sensibility with an excellent understanding of visual rhythm, pacing, and storytelling.

• Ability to translate creative concepts into cohesive and compelling motion design.

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Proactive, self-driven, and adaptable to feedback and evolving creative directions.
